per the usual, we ate a lot this weekend. tried two new places ---the local taco in east nashville and fenwick's 300 on 8th. both were tasty and great additions to our list of places to eat.
i had southern fried chicken tacos at the local taco. they are my favorite. the menu is an abbreviated version for right now and i am not sure when they will offer the full one. paul had a korean bbq taco, a southern fried chicken taco and a fish taco. he was quite surprised with the korean one as he thought it was better than he expected. their queso is good and james approved. :)
fenwick's 300 is an all day breakfast and lunch diner kind of place. i had whole wheat pancakes and a side of two eggs. both tasty. paul had benedict and was happy b/c the eggs were perfectly cooked. something he's quite fussy about when it comes to ordering benedict.
today we had lunch at logan's which is just the normal okay. i did like my sandwich, the smoky mountain chicken sandwich. although my blood sugar was not a fan. tonight for dinner it was cook out from the gallatin location. cheap and tasty. as always.
